I was introduced to the marvels of photography quite early in my life. I remember playing with my grandmother's Voigtländer bellows camera that she had bought in the 1930s when I was a toddler.
I have started to curate my dad's slides from the 1960s. They are exhibited in the Legacy series.
My interest in photography
I have inherited two passions from my father, traveling and photography. He taught me that the earth is merely a blue marble and that there are no distances you cannot overcome. And he introduced me to the world of photography. There were always cameras in our home. I recall playing with my grandmother's Voigtländer bellows camera when I was only a few years old. Throughout the years, he has taught me a lot about photography and I'm grateful for it.  It's the combination of both these passions that shape my work. I use digital and analog photography as equal tools to capture the world how I see it.
